摘要
Deleterious effect of metal in proximity of magnetically coupled readers/transponders is often mitigated by ferrite shields. A resonant circuit at a fraction of the cost of ferrite materials can reduce the effect by robbing energy from the metal. A simplified theory in conjunction with circuit and field simulation and experiments are presented.
