摘要
For Jacques Derrida, the term "gift" means an absolute giving. However, in our experience, we cannot receive absolute giving. Through his debate with Jean-Luc Mat-ion, it becomes more apparent that once a gift is given, It is no longer a gift. Therefore, gift does not exist. Actually, Derrida is more interested in the deconstruction and its relationship with the "impossibility." The concept of gift explains this experience of impossibility. This article attempts to formulate a strongest statement against the economics of calculation and metaphysics of presence. It further asks if there exists a kind of negative theology that is compatible with this concept of the Gift.
