摘要
It is the thesis of this contribution that the psychoanalytic approach to the understanding of "mind" "body" problems should begin first by undoing the concept of their separation and then realizing that "mind" and "body" are convenient Cartesian artifices that disguise a fundamental unity and cooperative (as well as noncooperative) functioning of the individual. I consequently recommend the usage of mindbody and bodymind in order to address this area of investigation. I also posit that, in their phantasied disconnection, there exists an object relationship.
