摘要
The modeling of the radiation transport in supernova atmospheres is discussed in terms of lightcurve physics and spectral synthesis. The importance of accurate and complete atomic physics is discussed. The elements and ionization stages which are important for supernova calculations are listed as well as the processes for which data are required.
