摘要
Simple one-step synthesis has been optimized to prepare heterocyclic azo dyes using silica-supported boron tri-fluoride (BF3 center dot SiO2) as a catalyst to promote diazotization and combination of heterocyclic amines with different heterocyclic couplers at room temperature. The structure of the synthesized compounds was proved using different techniques. Nano inks were prepared by microencapsulation technique using these synthesized dyes under ultra-sonication for 10 min. The inks were used in digital printing techniques for cotton and polyamide fabrics. The fastness properties of the prints were measured. The printed fabrics have an excellent washing fastness and good light fastness values.
