摘要
GIs (Geographic Information Systems) provides the various analyzing and displaying using diverse spatial data have supported the powerful functionality and friendly user-interface. But, early GIS software is developed as package tool, it have many difficulties with reducing the cost of developing GIS application and satisfying the various user requirements. In this paper, we described the design and modeling of GIS service components based on open GIS service architecture of OGC(Open GIS consortium). Each service component is composed of many objects accomplish the atomic service processing and cooperate with each other. And, GIS service components meets the qualifications of the low cost of developing GIs application because of the reusability and re-composition. GIS service components are designed with UML (Unified Modeling Language) of an object-oriented modeling language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software system. In addition, they also were developed in object-oriented computing environment, ATL/COM and Visual C++, and it provide the interoperability, language-independent, easy developing environment as well as re-usability.
