The Influence of Audiovisual Media with Dick and Carey Model of Learning Skill Subject on Student's Learning Achievement in the Faculty of Medicine

摘要
This research is intended to develop the audio visual media in the subject of Learning Skills to obtain satisfactory student's achievement. The research method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design which is first developing the model of the instructional design of Dick and Carey and continued with quantitative data analysis by employed descriptive analytic statistical analysis using t test to see whether or not there is an improvement of student achievement in this subject after implementing audiovisual media. The design of audiovisual media have been tested to experts and students and have been adapted to the suggestion from experts and students. Audiovisual media are including audiovisual modules of scenarios, student guides, medical practicum manuals, lectures media. All of these modules have been tested to the first semester of students. There is an evidence of the increase in student achievement before the use of this audiovisual media and after the use of audiovisual media with the average increase of student achievement of first semester from which the previous use of audiovisual present the mean of students achievement of 49,79 and after the use of audiovisual media, learning achievement value increased to equal to 65.16. Audiovisual module and media have a significant influence in improving student's learning achievement with a p value of 0,000.
