Coherent population trapping with linearly polarized pumping laser in multi-Zeeman-sublevel atoms

摘要：
We analytically construct the coherent population trapping (CPT) states of multi-Zeeman-sublevel Rb-87 (5S(1/2), F = 2) atoms coupled to a linearly polarized pumping laser. The polarization direction is different by pi/4 from that used by M. Xiao et al.. We also confirm the usual properties of CPT states by numerical analysis.
