摘要
The objective of this study was to evaluate the growth and the survival of Steindachneridion scriptum larvae with four food types ( Prochilodus lineatus larvae, Artemia sp., fish flour and dry diet with 40% of crude protein) and three photoperiods (24:0-24 light: dark, 14:10 and 0:24). Significant differences were not found for survival and cannibalism among treatments. Best growth and survival were achieved when larvae were reared with 14 hours of light per day, joining high survival with good growth. S. scriptum larvae fed with fish larvae presented the best growth but Artemia sp. can be used as an alternative food.
