Exact solution of the contact problem for two cylinders with respect to friction

摘要
The exact integral equations of the contact problem for the elastic disk are represented. The exact solutions in case of rigid adhesion and for the division, of the contact region for one adhesion zone and one sliding zone are obtained by the method of the Riemannian boundary value problem. A number of important applications for the deterred disk are treated, based on Fromm's theory about the dependence of the solution on the load history.
