摘要
Atomic L shell Coster-Kronig yields (f(23)) for Pr was determined semiemprically. Experimental measurements were carried out using a Si(Li) detector and a Fe-55 radioisotope. The values of f(23) of Pr was found using experimental L-alpha X-ray production cross section, theoretical L-2 and L-3 subshell photoionization cross section, L-3 subshell fluorescence yield and L-alpha X-ray fraction in L-3 subshell X-rays. The present result was compared with theoretically predicted and semiempirical value. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
