The possibilities of fabrication of nanostructured boron nitride from pyrolytic and turbostratic BN powders are investigated. A surface treatment of pressed samples is performed by the laser radiation, based on aluminayttrium garnet (YAG), in a vacuum or in atmosphere of helium and nitrogen as well as by xenon radiation sources of the high-power optical furnace in a nitrogen media.
