摘要
We have developed the sampled-grating distributed Bragg reflector (SG-DBR) tunable lasers which consist of gain sections, a phase control section, front/rear mirrors, and an amplifier. Various structures were implemented for iTLA application and coherent communication. As for the integration structure in these types of lasers, the butt-coupling method was used, and the waveguide structures as well as fabrication methods were optimized for high coupling efficiency.
