Use of hybrid vehicle technology in industrial applications

摘要
The technologies for hybrid vehicles have been successfully applied to industrial engine applications and in particular power generation. This paper will discuss the challenges of such technology transfer as well as the opportunities and gains that can be made. Particular reference will be made to the problems of transient load response of the generator to the ISO standard, as well as the gains in both fuel economy and reduced emissions output. Emissions considered include the standard gaseous and solid particulate matter as well as noise emissions. The paper will also briefly discuss the use of this technology in other industrial applications such as in mobile plant equipment.
