On the cascarding acceleration by MHD turbulence in solar flares

摘要：
A model of the cascading acceleration of quasi-thermal electrons by MHD turbulence in solar flares is considered. Analysis shows that the fast magnetoacoustic wave modes with large wavenumbers > 10(-7) cm(-1) strongly damp due to the ion viscosity. The acceleration of quasi-thermal electrons is thought to be associated with lower hybrid waves.
