摘要
The Average Per-UE Throughput in Fifth Generation (5G) New Radio (NR) Cellular Vehicle-to-Anything (C-V2X) in out-of-coverage scenarios (mode 2) is derived via a new model for the Packet Reception Ratio (PRR) for 5G NR C-V2X in mode 2. The PRR model is based on inclusion of impact from the following four contributive sources: Half-Duplex (HD) condition, finite transmission range (FTR), PHY errors, and collisions. Collision errors are approximated by making simplifying assumptions regarding the transmission choices of other UE, allowing the model to be agnostic of the specific physical layout of UE. The model is validated against simulations of mode 2 using the 5G NR C-V2X implementation in ns-3, that allows efficient (in terms of runtime) and accurate estimation of network performance.
