摘要：

The title compound, C12H10ClNO2, was synthesized by the reaction of ethyl cyanocaetate with 4-chlorobenzaldehyde in ethanol under microwave irradiation. In the crystal structure, weak intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers, which are held together by van der Waals forces.
