摘要：
This study deals with the environmental evaluation of district heating units in the wider region of Ptolemais city, Greece. Dry pulverized lignite will be used as fuel in autonomous units, which have been evaluated for domestic and domestic/greenhouse use. The environmental evaluation is carried out comparing the existing emissions of CO2, CO, SO2, NOx and total suspended particles from domestic and greenhouses use with those from autonomous units, when using dry lignite as fuel.
