摘要
This paper has studied the effects of the CaO content, the choice of materials and the addition of additive B or fiber on the properties of tundish coating refractory. It is shown that MgO-CaO coating material has good properties for a 20 T tundish, that is no cracks or peeling during natural drying and baking and has excellent corrosion resistance to the slag and molten steel. MgO-CaO coating material can purify the molten steel and make the coating layer easier to separate from permanent layer when turn over the tundish.
