摘要
Wave overtopping is one of the most important design parameters which effects the harbor calmness, operation and structural stability. Therefore the reliable estimation of wave overtopping is indispensible for designing the coastal structures. Recently, it is known that EurOtop (2007) is the most widely and newest design manual. In this study, the wave overtopping for vertical structures are measured and the empirical formula would be suggested concerning the differences of wave spectrum between JONSWAP and Bretschneider-Mitsuyasu spectrum and the effects of wave period.
