摘要
This paper is concerned with computerized approach to geotechnical characterization of the subsurface using three-dimensional gee-information systems. The benefits of using such a system in urban geology are; in the efficient use of extensive information, which usually already exists, to create realistic, spatial geotechnical models of the subsurface. The models created provide an improved basis for prediction of the interaction between engineering structures and the subsurface. An application case study is used to demonstrate the approach.
