摘要
This article aims to present the experiences of replacing the Quantum platform for the Facebook social network as a virtual learning environment (VLE). It is pointed the use of those tools as a complement to in-classes course of the Descriptive Geometry course, at the School of Fine Arts in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, comparing them and indicating their different potencialities and aplications. From 2007, the teaching of this subject began to adopt the virtual learning environment of the Quantum platform, originally intended for Distance Education. However, the system had resources that could be used in a semi-presential approach, which made it possible to add face-toface classes to the digital resources then available.
