摘要
Observations of afterglows of gamma-ray bursts (GRB) provide a powerful probe of these mysterious events that, when they go off, outshine any other object in the Universe. We are near to discovering the origin of these cosmic explosions (collision or collapse ?) and their relationship with the environment of the host galaxy. In this review I summarize the milestones of GRB research in the last 3 years, and describe the key and open issues of the field.
