摘要
The internal market must be seen in its evolution, from the common market established by the Treaty that established the Economic Community of Coal and Steel (ECSC from 1952) respectively Treaty that established the European Economic Community and the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community (EEC and EAEC, 1958). Each treaty, subsequent to founding treaties of the European Communities helped to eliminate trade barriers between Member States in order to increase economic prosperity and contribute to "ever closer union among the peoples of Europe". The first freedom, the objective of the EEC Treaty was "free movement of goods" within the Community, currently within the European Union.
