摘要
Cationization of kraft pulp was prepared when the 2-Trimethylammonium ethyl methacrylate chloride(DMC) and Dimethyldiallylammonium Chloride(DMDAAC) had been grafted onto kraft eucalyptus pulp under microwave it-radiation. The effect of some parameters on grafting ratio and retention rate of French chalk bad been discussed. Results show that the grafting ratio and the retention rate by DMC are generally higher than that by DMDAAC, the grafting ratio and retention rate may reach the maximum when the DMC and DMDAAC concentration are at 9% and 13% respectively with the pulp consistency being at 14% While the optimal pH by DMC and DMDAAC are at 2 similar to 3 and 6 similar to 8 respectively and initiator dosage being at 0.6% as well as being under microwave 160W for 2+3 min both by DMC and DMDAAC. Finally, FTIR results indicates both of DMC and DMDAAC are grafted onto kraft pulp.
