Nowadays, we are witnessing the need to reconsider the terms from which the concept of landscape has traditionally been addressed. The awareness of environments in the contemporary city that are no longer those that inspired painters and travelers in romanticism implies the revision of those structures that have traditionally constituted our framework of action from a classical view of the landscape. In this sense, the present article aims to transcend this simplified conceptualization with which so many times we work in this field, with the purpose of revealing, from some margins of interpretation proper to our time, the identity of these new landscapes contemporary that emerge in the XXI century as a new landscape reference, so that all this opens us to future interpretations that contemplate its complex, multiple and variable nature and ultimately lead us to build them.
