摘要
The influence of wall permeability upon a turbulent channel flow is studied numerically. Similar to a Large Eddy Simulation we pursue an approach in which we describe the large-scale flow behavior in the porous medium. A closure is adopted for the drag, whereas dispersion is currently neglected. The results show that wall permeability increases the friction factor and enhances turbulent mixing.
