摘要
The present study aims to reflect critically on the body of Hermogenes, a character in the Grande sertao: veredas (1956) novel, by Guimaraes Rosa (1908-1967). In our approach, we will develop the perspective of the report as an issue that corroborates a bodily disfigurement, prefigured as of the wild order. In this sense, we will emphasize the modern characteristic of this character, which presents himself without a fixed form, being, therefore, immeasurable, without contour and mixed. For this, we use the reflections of Moraes (2017), Giorgi (2016), Bolle (1998), Machado (2003), Santiago (2017) and Rosenfeld (2009). Beside these scholars, we also consider the thoughts of Bataille (2018), Derrida (2002) and Agamben (2017) about the report, the animal, and the open, respectively.
