摘要：
Information technology (IT)-based innovations have the potential to significantly improve health promotion and create more efficient and effective health care delivery systems. What will it take to achieve these promises? In this new regular feature in Nursing Economics, the potential role and influence of IT on the health of individuals and populations, as well as healthcare management, economics, and policymaking, will be explored.
