Building structures as kinematic systems - dynamic monitoring and system analysis

摘要
With different damage szenarios on bridges could be stated that dynamic monitoring of building structures is an interesting contribution to the assessment of the actual structural behaviour and localisation of damages. As up to now mainly the high frequencies of the spectrum of the vibrations are used for system identification, the results are still limited. A survey of the sensors which can be used for the monitoring processes shows that the detection of the total spectrum of the vibrations is possible. It is demonstrated that for instance fluid pressure tiltmeters provide an interesting completion of the system.
