摘要：

A red brown porcelain tile meeting the international standard was fabricated by sintering chromium salt dreg with clay and feldspar as the additives at 1210 degrees C. The optimal amount of the chromium salt dreg was determined to be 46 wt% in the products. Only 0.018 mg/kg of soluble six-valence chromium was detected in the products which was far less than the value of 5 mg/kg for the national standards. Therefore, the chromium salt dreg can be used as a substitution of the natural raw materials for harmless treatment.
