Secret Treasure of the French language: Originality of the "New Caribbean Literature"

In this comparative study, we will deal with the Ralph Ludwig's concept of "New Caribean Literature" in Ecrire la "parole de nuit". La nouvelle litterature antillaise (1994), which is expressed especially in several novels by Patrick Chamoiseau, Raphael Confiant, Rene Depestre, Edouard Glissant, Ernest Pepin, Gisele Pineau. We specifically examine some problematic notions of this new poetic (French language metamorphosed, Creoleness, Opacity). We would like to analyse and compare the originality of their French Language as Artistic expression of Creole History, Orality and Creole Imagination.
