摘要
This review shade light on the recent advances in a photocatalytic application of spinel ferrite nanoparticles and their nanocomposites towards pollutant degradation capacities in wastewater, with more emphasis on their novelties. Furthermore, the possible recovery and reuse of spinet ferrite nanoparticles being used as a photocatalyst in wastewater treatment are addressed. Innovative techniques needed for surface modification and improving photocatalytic efficiency of spinel ferrite nanopartides, nanocomposites and their selectivity towards different pollutant degradation arc briefly reviewed. Finally, challenges, gaps and future research needs in order to improve the photocatalytic application of spinel ferrite nanopartides and their nanocomposites are addressed. (C) 2019 The Authors.
