摘要：
The quality of the metal of rotor turbines and generators is one of the main factors determining their reliability and service life. It is important not only to choose correctly the grade of the steel but also the process of its production. The results of a study of two kinds of defect observed in large forgings and their effect on the steel quality are presented.
