摘要
Numerical simulation of High-Speed Nailing Process is considered with the Forge (R) software in the particular case of double steel sheets assembly. Model construction is detailed in terms of loadings, boundary conditions and material characterization requirements. Based on a coupled Experimental vs. Numerical approach, importance of material fracture criteria is highlighted through comparisons of nail penetration kinematics and sheet failure patterns.
