摘要：
By modeling the relationship between project managerial compensation and firm monitoring in construction firms in China's state-owned enterprises, the paper analyzes factors influencing firm monitoring over project managers and finds that project manager complete responsibility compensation mechanism is the one that incurs the least agency costs for state-owned construction firms in China.
