摘要
Peyronie's disease is an idiopathic disorder of the tunica abuginea of the penis that influences penile curvature, requiring surgical correction when it prevents penetration, consisting in patients with short penis or curvatures of >60 degrees in elongation of the concave side using grafts. Buccal mucosa, through the capillaries of the submucosa, performs better adaptation, revascularization, elasticity and elongation than other grafts. We present a 55 year-old male with dorsal penile curvature of 90 degrees of 18 months evolution and 10 cm penis who underwent cavernoplasty with buccal mucosa graft with incision of the fibrotic plaque. A year later the patient preserves erectile function without the use of drugs, with penile length of 9.2 cm. The favorable short-term results make this technique an alternative to traditional grafts, but long-term results are need to consider the treatment of choice.
