A neural PPD controller for the pH neutralization process

摘要
The neural network is one of the most promising strategies to control nonlinear chemical processes. In order to control a pH neutralization process, a neural PID control method was developed and tested experimentally. In the neural PID control method, the neural network is trained on the basis of the control errors and the tuning parameters of the PID controller are obtained as the outputs of the neural network. The suitability of the neural PID control scheme was demonstrated experimentally by an on-line application. Results of both simulations and experiments show that satisfactory control performance could be achieved by the neural PID controller even with the existence of significant disturbances.
