摘要
Pens, common in hospitals, may be a potential vehicle for cross-infection. In this study, the number of pathogens on different pens and the positive rates of several common multi-drug-resistant bacteria were calculated and compared according to the nature of use and material. In addition, the effect of pens on bacterial transmission was explored through simulation experiments. High levels of bacteria were found on pens and the simulations demonstrated transmission of bacteria. (c) 2021 Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc.
