Analysis of Dissipation Mechanisms and Thermal Dynamics in Nanophotonic Resonators Using Thermo-Optical Effect

摘要
We present a robust method to distinguish the absorption loss from other loss mechanisms in a nanophotonic resonator by characterizing its thermo-optical nonlinearity. Using this method, we analyze ten modes of drastically different quality-factors. (c) 2021 The Author(s)
