Nonperturbative origin for the s-d Delta I=1/2 transition amplitude?

摘要
The u-quark's nonperturbative-QCD contribution to the s-d self-energy amplitude, though naively of sufficient magnitude (G(F) [(u) over bar u] sin theta(c) cos theta(c)) to enhance Delta I = 1/2 strangeness-changing processes, is shown to be suppressed by an additional factor M(W)(2), and to vanish in the chiral limit.
