Digital Obesity-the problem of too much data-arises from recent advances in storage and communication technologies. The Semantic Web has been proposed as a possible solution to this problem. We argue that the underlying binary logic is inadequate and that a fuzzy approach is required. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V All rights reserved.
