摘要：
The paper discusses the development of the UK Government's policy for the provision of Counter-Terrorist Protective Security Measures for government buildings. It describes the background to the policy and examines possible terrorist threats. The relevance of current UK Health and Safely legislation is also discussed. The paper outlines how current UK Building Regulations and Design Codes contain some measures that will contribute to withstanding terrorist attacks. The final section of the paper discusses in more detail the application of current UK policy.
