摘要
A series of metal organic framework, analogues of MOF-5, was prepared using Zn ions and rigid carboxylate ligands (1,4-benzenedicarboxylates, BDC). The synthesized systems are characterized by a high specific surface area (up to 2000 m(2)/g (BET)), proper crystallinity and enhanced thermal stability (up to 603K). The obtained systems were characterized by the powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray absorption spectroscopy, and DRIFT. The comparison of the sorption characteristics of the MOF samples to H-2 and N-2 was the specific scope of this study. The sorption capacity to H-2 (at 77K, 1 atm) is similar to 1 wt% for all synthesized samples in spite of variations in the specific surface area (1200-2000 m(2)/g, BET). The catalytic performance of 3% Pd/MOF-5 systems was examined in the liquid-phase hydrogenation of cyclohexene under mild conditions (293K, P-H2 1atm).
