摘要
Insertion/deletion and VNTR polymorphisms of the serotonin transporter gene were tested for association with schizophrenia in patients of different ethnicity. A difference in genetic predisposition was observed for continuous and shift-like schizophrenia forms, the former tending to be associated with genotype 12/12 in Tatars and L/L in Russians.
