摘要
Digital excitation systems provide many advantages over the presently used systems and offer enhanced performance and improved diagnostics. These systems feature a variety of new functions such as temperature limiters and temperature monitors which were previously separate devices. The enhanced features provide information which are useful in reducing maintenance costs and maximize performance. The performance of these systems have been checked in commercial power plants.
