摘要
We experimentally demonstrate transfer-printing of mid-infrared quantum cascade lasers onto a silicon-on-sapphire platform and laser light coupling to a silicon waveguide via an adiabatically tapered mode converter. Transferred devices operate in pulsed mode at room-temperature.
