Construction of sequences at elementary school: A case of study

摘要
We present a case of study whose objective is to describe the sequences made by a 7 years old student. We asked the student to continue 14 different sequences, given the first two figures. The data collection was performed through a semi-structured interview. In this work, we describe the kind of sequences constructed by the student, attending to the tasks variables considered in the research design. We show some examples of the student's work. Among the results, we highlight that the student construct reiterative and non-reiterative sequences, with different patterns and different number of element in the nucleus.
