摘要
The following is recommended to improve the quality of thermostable fibres: use of blended compositions containing small amounts of nonshrinking fibres to reduce thermal shrinkage; polymer blends can also be used for this purpose; copolycondensation with phosphorus- and halogen-containing monomers to increase the level of fireproofing; surface treatment with phosphorus-containing fireproofing compounds, orthophosphoric acid in particular is very effective for this purpose; protecting thermostable fibres from light and sunny weather both with light-fast fibres and by addition of photooxidative degradation stabilizers; dyeing of thermostable fibres not undergoing crystallization, bulk and gel dyeing, and incorporation of dye fragments in the polymer chain of fibre-forming aromatic polyheteroarylenes.
