摘要
The research interests in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have increased day by day due to its widespread applications such as in home automation, safety, environmental monitoring, and so forth. Despite these applications, the main shortcomings discussed in this paper are (i) deployment of sensor nodes and (ii) utilization of battery. The basic structure of WSN with the deployment of nodes with different issues and applications are discussed. In addition, the routing mechanism employed to find the route between source and destination are discussed in short. A state-of-art of various researchers contributed toward the reduction of energy along with the comparative graph is demonstrated. It is analyzed that the optimization technique with energy efficient algorithm performs well compared to the individual energy efficient algorithm.
